Who are we?
Jerk Hut & Co. are a family run business who opened our doors nearly 10 years ago!
Specialising in using fresh ingredients, we create authentic Jamaican food with great flavour, great taste and great service.
We look forward to welcoming you to our restaurant which is cosy and inviting with inside and outside seating to accomodate approx 30 people.
We also cater for vegans and people with allergens.
Our Story
Floyd was born in Jamaica, in a little town next door to Nine miles where the legendary Bob Marley is from.
As a boy, Floyd used to sit in the kitchen watching his Grandmother cook for the family. She was also the cook at the community school that Bob Marley used to attend.
Asking questions and offering his help, Floyd quickly developed a love for cooking, and would soon be cooking for the entire family.
After migrating to England, Floyd soon realised there was no place in his hometown Bournemouth that provided the food he loves, so thought about opening a Jamaican restaurant.
What happened next?
After going to college to gain more knowledge about food and business, he opened up his own family-run Jamaican restaurant in Bournemouth in 2013! The restaurant was a success, serving the local community, tourists and lots of celebrities like professional footballers, musicians such as Tini Tempa, Damien junior gang Marley, Shalla Mar, The Wailers, and many more.
As well as the restaurant, he expanded to also offer specialist catering services for birthdays parties for celebrities like England International Tyrone Mings, music concert catering for junior Gang Marley, The Wailers, music festivals and wake home parties and lots more.

Our restaurant in Boscombe is easily located on the main high street! We are located opposite the O2 and just a short stroll from the beautiful sunny beaches in Bournemouth. Parking can be found on Hawkswood Road, just a few minutes away. Free parking after 6pm.
